Biography of Alexandria Simms, MS

 

Alexandria Simms, MS is completing her final year of her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Alexandria earned an M.S. in Human Resources Management from Roosevelt University and a B.A. in Applied Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is currently a member of the National Association of African American in Human Resources, the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology, and the Society of Human Resources Management. 

 

Alexandria volunteers with Erie House, Howard Brown, La Casa Norte, and mentors two high schoolers through the ISTMCoalitions Mentor Matching Engine. Alexandria is also a Campus Election Engagement Project Fellow and Illinois Campus Compact student recruiter. 

 

The Executive Service Corps gave Alexandria the opportunity to learn and grow on an executive compensation project along with two Executive Coaching assignments. Alexandria has also facilitated multiple internal and external trainings on everything from diversity, equity, and inclusion to social media management for nonprofits.
