Biography of Diane Herr, MS

 

Diane Herr came to Executive Service Corps from a career at Lucent Technologies, and she is also currently a partner with BTDT Consulting.  At Lucent, Diane held several senior leadership positions in marketing, new product introduction, customer service, e-business and research and development.  As a partner with BTDT Consulting, she provides clients with proven solutions to a broad range of business problems in the areas of: managing change, corporate strategy, new product development, organizational diversity, training, leadership development, marketing, and e-business implementation.

 

Since joining ESC, Diane now applies this wide range of skills to enhance the effectiveness of nonprofits through consulting and coaching roles.  Examples of her ESC clients include: Aurora Cultural Creatives, Hudson Academy Foundation, El Hogar Del Nino, Sit Stay Read, Aurora Public Library, National University of Health Sciences Library, and Itasca Park District.  She has completed ESC training in Consulting, Facilitation, Coaching, Board Development, Strategic Planning, Fund Development, Project Tech Tools, and Leadership Transition.  

 

She was previously on the Board of Directors of the Lupus Foundation of America, Illinois Chapter, is currently a board member of St Charles Singers and has held leadership positions in religious organizations.

 

Diane has an M.S. in Management from Stanford University in California, and B.S. and M.S. in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She holds eight patents and has published papers in technical and marketing journals.  Diane has also been active in career mentoring, diversity awareness and specialized leadership training programs.
