Biography of Robert Greenebaum, Jr.
Bob Greenebaum is Executive Vice President and National Casualty Practice Group leader at Swett & Crawford and has extensive experience in both retail and wholesale casualty insurance with an emphasis on large and complex accounts. He began his career at Marsh and later joined Corron and Black (Wills) handling large, hard-to-place accounts.
While at Willis he was named the head of Stewart Smith MidAmerica, Willis' wholesale division. He joined Insurance Brokers Service (IBS), which later merged with Swett & Crawford, in 1997. He has also served as EVP, Central Region Manager and Branch Manager for the Chicago office of Swett & Crawford prior to taking on his current stewardship of the Casualty Practice Group. Bob has a BA from The Colorado College and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Bob has been on the Board of Trustees of Steppenwolf Theater for 30 years and is currently Secretary of the ESC Board of Directors. His father, Robert Greenebaum, was a founding member of ESC, Board Member, and active volunteer for more than 25 years.
